Mineral Resources and its embattled founder Chris Ellison have been served with a class action in Victoria’s Supreme Court following a series of corporate governance scandals at the loss-making miner.
The highly indebted miner said it would “strongly defend” the action, which was filed by Melbourne-based law firm Phi Finney McDonald on behalf of the self-managed superannuation fund of MinRes shareholders Peter and Gai Collens.
