Star Entertainment has failed to secure a $750 million lifeline from Salter Brothers, putting the casino group at risk of administration for the third time this year.
Sources close to the negotiations, not authorised to speak publicly, said Star was trying to reach a deal with its potential funder until late on Tuesday, but had failed to agree to terms including how to meet its near-term costs.
