Mineral Resources has turned to a packing industry executive with no mining experience as its new chairman to repair the company’s tarnished reputation following a string of scandals surrounding billionaire founder Chris Ellison.
Malcolm Bundey, a private equity executive who sits on the board of Sydney-based building materials company Brickworks, will replace United Kingdom-based James McClements on July 1, after he was forced to step down in the fallout from numerous corporate governance failures at the diversified miner.
