Punters will be able to place live bets on Tabcorp’s app in pubs and clubs under a push by chief executive Gillon McLachlan to take market share from the bookmaker’s rivals.
McLachlan’s plan has received regulatory approval in NSW and an initial trial is expected to start in two pubs on Thursday. The announcement was made to the market as Tabcorp flagged another round of job cuts.
